working in thin gauge roofing copper establish a pattern, I enlarged this from Mann’s pattern 
sinking into the end grain of a block of scrap wood 
use a sharp edge to emboss the corner to initiate a fold 
use a flat faced hammer to set the fold 
Rivets are optional, the Calder spoons above had one single rivet to secure the folded handle
